The E-6A5 it's the modenized version of the "grinder" the PP-136E Byk [link] (a Bizon upgrade with western features), the main updates are the redesign of the internials now more robust and chambered for the 5.7 CTA, other secondary features are a slight reduction of fire rate to allow a better control due to the decreased weight of the ammunition changed the weapon balance so a ROF reduction permi a slightly better handling during full auto fire, still it remain one of the highest ROF of it's category, the flash hider have been replaced with a rapid flash hider for silencers ideal for specialists that need rapidly to suppress their weapons, the front sight have been changed with a folding "hidden" RIS sigh the rear one remained the standard issue of the "Byk" but most of the times isn't used due to the fact it's standard issue to have mounted on the E-6 an holografic or RDS sight
of course as most of the E-series weapons the E-6 as well can be used to fire with different round types here the 4 main types of ammunition (from left to right, top to botton) :
- Standard 5.7mm Ball the basic munitions able to deal with any kind of threath but excelling in nothing
- High Propulsion 6.8mm enhanched power that generate overpressure to increase speed and lethality of rounds, but the overpressure also reduce the operative life of the barrel of the weapon
- SABOT Flechette 6.8mm Ammo the most penetrating round that can be fired from the weapon, expecially on the E-6 the lack of punch it's not an issue the ROF of the weapon will litterally make rain downrange a shower of tungsten penetrators that are devastating for any mid armored treath
- THV 5.7mm the THV (Tres Haute Vitesse Frech for Very High Speed) high velocity rounds introduced to be an alsternate solution to the HP munitions, the THV don't wear down the barrel but have reduced range compared to the HP rounds
